DR VIVIEN MORIS
Who am I?
I'm Dr. Vivien Moris, a double board french consultant of plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic, and hand surgeon from France. My training took me to top hospitals in France (Paris, Marseille, Dijon) and Singapore, where I mastered a wide range of plastic surgery procedures. My ultimate goal is to help my patients through their transformation journey safely, achieving the best possible results together. Curious and scientifically minded, I am always learning and eager to share my knowledge with my students.
Awards
I was honored by the European Association of Societies of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Societies (EASAPS) as the best young plastic surgeon in 2020, an accolade that enabled me to pursue a European fellowship.
In 2019, I received the award for the best paper presentation at the French National Society of Aesthetic Surgery (SOFCEP) in Val D’Isère, France. More about my achievements.
Additionally, in 2018, the 'Fondation de l’Avenir' awarded me a research grant to conduct an innovative research program in collaboration with the laboratory of biomaterials chemistry CSPBAT (CNRS) at the University of Paris 13, as part of my Ph.D. in chemistry.
My expertise lies in the fields of implant biocompatibility (including silicone, titanium, and catheters), regenerative medicine using stem cells, bone reconstruction, 3D printing, microsurgery, and minimally invasive cosmetic surgery techniques.

Philosophy, Research and Improvement
My professional philosophy centers on achieving the best transformational results for my patients, guided by a critical scientific approach. At the heart of my work lies a strong foundation in science, coupled with unwavering integrity and ethics. My second goal in my practice, is to respect the natural anatomy and beauty of each patient. I'm aiming for results that look natural and balanced. It's about celebrating and elevating their inherent beauty, not altering it.
I have enhanced and published my work on facial cosmetic surgery, especially deep-plane facelifts under local anesthesia, and innovative anti-aging procedures like nanofat stem cells and PRP, in the British Journal of Plastic Surgery, one of the most renowned journal in Europe.
I developed a new approach for silicone breast augmentation with minimal pain and fast recovery. This work has been published in the number one journal of plastic surgery in the world : PRS (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery).
In addition, I have been involved in complex reconstructions, collaborating with other surgical teams, with a particular focus on breast, head/neck, and limb surgery. I encountered an exceptional infectious surgical case that was published in the world-renowned medical journal, The Lancet. Furthermore, I am committed to emergency care, having performed over 2,500 emergency surgical procedures in hand surgery.
Additionally, in 2018, the 'Fondation de l’Avenir' awarded me a research grant to conduct an innovative research program in collaboration with the laboratory of biomaterials chemistry CSPBAT (CNRS) at the University of Paris 13, as part of my PhD in chemistry.
My research expertise lies in the fields of implant biocompatibility (including silicone, titanium, and catheters), regenerative medicine using stem cells, bone reconstruction, 3D printing, microsurgery, and minimally invasive cosmetic surgery techniques.
Teaching, Consulting, and Leadership Roles
As the head of the plastic surgery residency program, I guide residents and junior surgeons through all aspects of our specialty, encompassing cosmetic, reconstructive, hand surgeries, and emergency procedures.
Additionally, I oversee the specialized diploma program in wound healing and management at the University of Dijon, imparting crucial knowledge and skills in this vital area of medical care.
In my consulting role, I collaborate closely with medical laboratories, providing a scientific perspective on critical issues like silicone and biomaterial implants, the biocompatibility of fillers, and specialized strategies for injection prevention. My expertise in these areas is sought after for advancing safer and more effective medical practices, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of patient safety and efficacy.
In my management role at the University Hospital in Dijon, I was pivotal in coordinating emergency care for hand and plastic surgery across the Burgundy region. Now, in my new position at Cosmesurge Dubai, I am focused on creating a smart network of physicians. This collaborative effort involves working closely with bariatric surgeons, nutritionists, and psychologists, especially in managing complex cases like weight loss programs. My aim is to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, leveraging the expertise of diverse medical professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
